Action for Children, founded in 1869, is one of the largest children's charities in the UK.

We provide services to children in care, disabled children, disadvantaged young people and families in crisis in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We also run specialist schools, and provide fostering, adoption and short break services.
