Hello there!!

My return to flickr [2017] after a long absence brings with it the hope that I can keep it updated. My priority has never been feeding the internet and it's true a lot of William David work never gets highlighted. Here you will see examples from my work at "The Station" and a little from prior to that.

The station is where the Halfling office is located and where most meetings and shoots take place. It's far to small, but a great location - worth the compromise. Trains service the Bletchley to Bedford branch line and on from there to The Midland and "up North" and South to London and beyond.

The Halfling Project is a not for profit venture promoting the advancement of knowledge of the "invisible" and often late diagnosed conditions within the autistic spectrum. Act4ward works with young actors building up personal self confidence & range - or by using drama techniques to bring young people "out of their shells" . It hard to put in a few words, as it's a wide ranging brief.

UPDATE:-

It seems apt on the 20th birthday of flicker to return to the platform. Returning has been like a time capsule in the days before lockdown and my time at The Station.

Much has changed since then - I have in most respects retired and now continue William David work more as a hobby. But a hobby with serious intent to it's brief.

Here at the moment you will see earlier content unedited or updated and then some more recent content from the 2lo series of work.

My work is not about numbers taking part - I only have limited time and I want to remain committed fully to those I work with.

Video has taken over from stills photography with many images now taken from the video footage.

The location has changed too - but still in Central Bedfordshire.

I am grateful to all who have taken part both past present and future!

Depictions here contained cover the work of young actors and historic events/depictions - some of that work has an historic basis and covers key wars and historic events. I have a strict content policy within my work - but it has to reflect acting as it is today and the characters can be in in historic uniform or depict events from the past - in I hope an accurate and responsible way.

I do not shoot or allow any content that is not suitable for a general audience or the actors involved.

I have decided not to edit or remove earlier content as it is an historic insight to the work from it's early days in Bedfordshire.
