It's great to meet you all and experience your work. Thanks very much for all the feedback. Point-and-click digital convenience only recently merged with SLR sophistication, compelling me to pick up my hobby after decades of neglect. Looking through the lens again has literally opened my eyes and made me appreciate my surroundings so much more. I've also been quickly and thoroughly humbled by the mountains of exceptional imagery in my friends' photostreams---keep'em coming!

Also: I can't tell my Flickr friends just how much I enjoy seeing the world through your eyes! So many eyes, in so many distant (and sometimes not so distant :) places! Thanks again for this new and improved form of armchair travel...
