I discovered digital photography after shelling out >$100 for developing film from a two week vacation in 2001. And the photos weren't that good...

I was a point-and-shoot digital user since then. Recently I spent a weekend reading about aperture and ISO speeds and now I'm hooked on the control my Nikon D50 dSLR provides.

I'm no artist. I mostly take photos to remember places and occasions, and I'm trying improve my eye and my skills. Please tell me what you think.
