I guess since it's officially how I make my living now, I can call myself a photographer. LOL I don't know what the actual "criteria" is but if anything, I'd choose artist over photographer as a label.

When you share a photo you've taken, you're sharing not only your perspective, you're also sharing your experiences with others.

August 27th, 2010 - Today marks the 100th day I have owned my DSLR camera. I took my 6,000th picture yesterday at 7:11pm. I received 10,212 views in those 100 days. I start my first course in photography next Tuesday. I am beyond thrilled. Here's to the next 100 days, the next 1,000 uploads and the next 10,000 views!

September 27, 2010 - Today I shot my 10,000th photo in Chicago, Illinois!

January 12, 2011 - I am preparing photographs for the 'Drop Your Avant Garde' art show in Fort Wayne. I am ecstatic!

January 22nd, 2011 - 2011 is shaping up to be a great year! I have been encouraged to move into the Fine Art business of photography by some professionals in the business and will be launching my own e-commerce site with online store soon. I am looking forward to breaking a thousand dollars in sales in the next couple weeks, which is something I never in my wildest dreams imagined happening. It's always a blessing when something you love pays for itself. There's lots of new gear on the way to expand my capabilities even further. To say I was excited would be a gross understatement.

January 30, 2011 - The Drop Your Avant Garde 2011 event was a huge success! I had two gallery offers including one for my own exclusive show. It's going to be a great year!

April 28, 2011 - My second tour of Europe is just hours away now. Deep breaths!! Can't wait to shoot some amazing cities in RAW.
