I love photography ever since I was a kid and got my hands on my mom's minolta SLR. I didn't do much besides experimenting during the holidays in which I drained my mom's stockpile of film... But that all changed with digital photography. I got a Nikon D50 and joined a course on photography with my good friend straboh. Digital photography opened the door to advanced photography to me. I could learn to take shots I would never have tried with film.

Finally I outlearned my D50 and decided it was time to switch to the more professional D300s. A fantastic camera that to other people may sometimes look like it is attached to my body! It just feels so perfect and provides me with the ability to take those images that mean so much to me and hopefully others.

Nowadays photography has become an important tool to vent my ideas and emotions. I got back to slide film (occasionally) and medium format negative film for fun and use my digital cameras whenever I go out the front door. I love to explore different cultures with my cameras and I love travel photography which combines two of my greatest passions. I take my gear to the edge and beyond continuesly exploring new boundaries. Besides that I'm always interested to experiment in other fields of photography. I get a lot of inspiration from such experiments so I can encourage everyone to do it.
