Alright, it's time to edit this profile. When I started on Flickr, I'd just gotten my first digital camera, and was loving the freedom of taking so many pictures. Of friends, strangers, instruments, trees. Anything that inspired me. It was a Canon Powershot A520.

After it died a premature death by the elements, I mulled over buying a digital SLR, as I'd been shooting on my dad's old SLR and loving the feeling and learning of taking pictures on an SLR camera. I finally did it, and bought a Nikon D40 camera!
