Access Ability Wisconsin, Inc., (AAW) is a non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating and providing the means for individuals with mobility challenges to access and enjoy Wisconsin 's natural resources.
AAW's objective is to provide recreational opportunities for physically challenged people, including wheelchair users, who want to enjoy the Wisconsin outdoors. Consider -
There are 5.7 million acres of public land in Wisconsin. Over 500,000 people in Wisconsin have some sort of disability which limits their access to that public land. There are proven benefits of outdoor recreation that everyone should be able to enjoy!
