One of the great pleasures of Flickr is discovering other folks who share your passion. When Abzia started a new group called Never Professional, for photographers "who do it for sheer difference and inspiration", and asked if I wanted to help out, it was quickly apparant that we shared many of the same thoughts about photography, life and art. It has been very rewarding to see the group take shape. Abzia's photostream is a constant source of inspiration to me and, I'm sure, to many others. His shots are unique, inventive, technically intriguing, artistic and, most importantly, always have soul. Each new shot he posts is a surprise - it may delight or challenge or disturb you, but it will never bore you! Thanks for sharing your vision with us Abzia.

An expressionist, a photo-philosopher, a gentleman, a humble human being.... and now a very good friend. There is an ambit of honesty and true simplicity in his photos, I have never seen him produce pictures that are extravagant or bluntly exorbitant...but pictures that reflect a part of his mind, something that is kicking in his head..... something that he wishes to communicate but without the usage of words... and he does so successfully too. In a very short time, he has done what most of us haven't done in a longer time. He has aced landscape photography, night photography, some really awesome work with water and abstract... I'll say he is going for greater heights... I wish him the best... and I hope to see his work as it comes. Hey good buddy, keep taking pictures!

Every single time I visit Abdurrehman Zia’s (or Abzia as I know him) stream something in me moves, Just seeing how great his photography is and how talented he is, his photographs speak directly to the heart. You may wonder that they are only pictures how can they "speak", but once you do have a look at his stream you'll know exactly what I mean! One glance on his photo stream and you will notice that it’s different from others. He is unique, brilliant and creative in his own way (very philosophical to me at times and a great observant eye he has), knows what he is doing and how to turn a simple photo into a spectacular presentation that would make you think and think!
