Abstar is awesome. She is often found doing such things as washing horse hair with which to upholster an old chair, or baking cakes which involve maltesers and other such goodness. She has inspired me to knit more giant things, take more photos and join flickr, as well as to revel in good cakes more and generally jump into life with both hands as *well* as both feet. She has also a 20mm crochet hook and a talent for finding nice wine. I'm just getting to know Abstar but I think the world needs more people like her who are creative, enthusiastic, full of energy, projects and fun. :-)
