My Artist Statement:

For me, photography is an ongoing process of discovering myself and how I choose to capture what I both see and imagine. I look at a photographic subject as a piece of music written for the piano, and then I select my own instrument to play it with. I have tried many instruments. This led me to experiment with digital manipulations, emulsion lifts, infrared photography and the Holga camera. They act as my cello or dulcimer. I still enjoy conventional photography, but I discover more about myself with each new instrument I use.

I use a Lumix G2 (four third camera) for regular shots and a modified Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2 for my infrared photography. When I am in the mood I like to attach a Pinwide cap or a SLR Magic Toy Camera Lens, or sometimes I shot through a sheet of seeded glass and in weird moods I use some homemade filters I made from exposed 35mm film with my Panasonic Lumix's.
