Hello Everyone

Thank you for visiting my page, a little about me in regards to my photography journey...…When I was a teenager in school circa 1992, I had a camera that I had saved up for with tea leaf tokens, "Brooke bond D" if I recall correctly. The camera was a little red self-wind piece of plastic possibly Fuji, the teacher in geography confiscated it one day as I was taking photos of classmates during lesson time (aren't I naughty)

My lovely old science teacher taught our class pinhole photography and took time out of his lunch breaks to teach me how to develop film in our darkroom, if I wasn't there you could find me in the art department painting.

I did 2 weeks of work experience in a high street print processing shop and was sure I was going to go to art school with my mind on photography but somehow, I ended up going to hairdressing college and qualifying as a hairdresser instead. Anyway, many years, many different jobs, including chrysanthemum breeding I was working in a cement laboratory in Belgium since 2012, I got my contract in 2014 then just before my birthday in April 2019, I had to have a spinal correction/fusion on my L4 L5 from undetected spina bifida occulta after the operation I decided to invest in myself and I did an online photography course with I Photography, My Affiliate link www.iphotography.com/online-photography-course/?a=187/

it was something I could do on the computer whilst I recovered from the operation and I upgraded my camera equipment from the Lumix FZ82 to a Canon 6D Mark2. It was and still is difficult to hold a camera steady, I use a tripod for the camera as much as possible (Cameras can get very heavy with the Lens attached, the people with bad backs they know what I mean)

I just want to do what's in my heart, things that fulfil the soul & brings joy to others and one of the things that I love is Photography, I love to look deeply at nature and wonder in its splendour.

So, I hope you enjoy my viewpoint of life... It comes from the soul and not from the hype.
