I am a Ph.D. student in sociology at the University of Nebraska--Lincoln. I used to play guitar in a thrash/hardcore/power violence band called Billy Knuckles. I enjoy taking pictures, even more so now that I've got a digital camera because now I don't have to worry about getting film processed. My favorite thing to take pictures of is live bands (preferably of a genre I enjoy). I would like to learn to take landscapes as well.

I am also interested in tube amplifiers, preferably vintage or no longer being made. My favorites are Matamp, Sovtek, and Hiwatt.

In recent months I haven't had as much time to take photos as I'd like to, but sometimes that's just how life works out.
