It's a mundane night just as a night during my summer break would always be and I'd decided to drop a sh** or two here. I've known Abe.Kamal since our pre-adolescent days and we'd become roomies when we both were enrolled in a famous boarding school in the northern part of Malaysia. Oh sh** I better stop before turning this into a nostalgic memoir of some sort. Ok. so I know he's pretty much stucked in Malaysia when I first flew off to study to Russia. And then I know he went on to further his study in Germany for good. Right before he went to Germany he told me about how he'd scrapped off some bucks to get this one shitty Ricoh camera which was put on a special deal. And then we both talked about buying a dSLR and I thought that was pretty normal for just about any foreign student abroad and it does seem to be a kind of a trend. What I didn't know is that he has such a raw talent and a perfect eye for photography and all suddenly he's whining about how perhaps he'd made a mistake on his true vocation. He blew me away with his shots, almost often easily recognized as his work, with that trademark simplicity, and colors that can easily catch the eyes of the viewers. And I'm not saying all this because I wish he'd reciprocate or I'm expecting him to buy me expensive dinner or lunch whenever I visit Germany in the near future. I'm writing all this because I'm bored. Huahuaha.
