Taking photographs has been a hobby of mine for many years. I had my first Brownie camera way back in the late 1950's when I was very young. Over the years I have had times when photography has been pushed to the background, but now I am older, it is once again coming to be one of my favourite pass times. I love Flickr for the way it allows me to share my hobby with other, I have learnt so much, and made many friends.

My other hobby is patchwork and quilting, and I've only just discovered the swap groups here on Flickr.. what fun.. I can now combine my two passions in one place.

For my swap partners:-

I like bright colours, but nothing neon or glaringly bright. Applique country style mini quilts or mug rugs, with chickens, birds, farm animals, wild animals and flowers.

I like traditional quilt blocks as well, and some of the more modern styles. All in all .. I find it harder to see something in the swap groups I don't like than I do finding something I do like.. so surprise me and I'm sure I will just love whatever you send.
