This testimonial for my dear friend, Chris, is way overdue. Before I knew Chris personally, I would look at her photos and cake creations in awe, and I still do, but I never expected that she would one day become one of the most special people in the whole world to me. As anyone who has visited Chris's photostream will know, her sugarcraft is amazing and that word goes nowhere to really explaining how incredibly talented she is. Her sugar flowers are almost real enough to fool Mr. A...but I wouldn't want to upset him being the expert that he is in his field..:O)) As well as her creative talent Chris has such a wonderful sense of humour which is evident in some of her creations and comments left for others on their photostreams. Then there is Chris the woman. I have friends whom I've known for many years who would not be the 'friend' to me that Chris has become. Chris has showed in her own humble way what a true friend should be. In a recent set of sad circumstances in my life she has been so supportive, empathetic, consoling and above all caring and for this I thank you from the bottom of my heart Chris...*hugs* I encourage anyone who has the chance to follow Chris's photostream to take a peek at what goes on in her world both in nature and in her fantastic sugarcraft art. She is not only a wonderfully professional sugar artist, with a talent for amazing flowers and beautifully finished cakes and creative cupcakes,she is an amazing photographer too! Chris also has a wonderful sense of humour and I think we share a love of collecting, so it is her that I blame for my latest collection of cutters, and all things sugarpaste!! Thank you Chris, for all your great encouragement to me to learn a little of your craft, and for all the huge laughs I get out of your musings and comments, and your fabulous creations you share with us on Flickr.
