I am an avid hiker who enjoys finding all the secret places that the American Southwest has to offer. I'm fascinated by ruins and archaeological finds (but I don't pick anything up, I leave that to the professionals--like my brother), read Classical Mayan and Middle Egyptian hieroglphs, and study comparative archaeology.
