AAVE Alternative AudioVisual Event is a Finland-based organisation. Our mission is to represent, promote and showcase different forms of audiovisual arts and therefore rejoin different genres and audiences. Our activity consists in screenings, live performances, exhibitions, workshops and lectures.

Central focus is given to AAVE Festival, a yearly international event organized in Helsinki since 2010. AAVE Festival is not a mere film or media art festival but aims at opening the gates into the vast world of moving image. All satellite projects organized out of the festival context are labelled as AAVE Circuits.
