Hi, I am just getting into photography, mostly through the support of my lovely partner Darren who is a very good photographer and he encourages me to extend myself creatively. I have been using a sony compact camera which has been good but I was getting frustrated by its limitations so have now splashed out and bought a canon eos 1000d. I am hanging out to play with it and will be putting up my best pictures to see what others think of them. Any feedback is very welcome as I am trying to improve myself. I am loving flickr as it is so diverse and have been enjoying seeing what others are doing. I am really interested in macro work as I have a facination with insects and the small things that go otherwise unnoticed and also nature and landscape type images.
