I have been taking pictures since I was a little kid but have started to take a lot more recently. I have started heading out for the sole purpose of taking pictures rather than just taking pictures while I am out doing other things. Having a small point and shoot camera makes it a lot easier to take pictures more often. It is now very rare that I don't keep it with me. This is part of what led to my

photo a day project.
