Myself..And...I

I am a very outgoing and friendly person to know and get along with. I mostly spend my spare time at the gym or with my girlfriend and socialising with friends. I'm currently studying a BTEC level 3 Extended Certificate in Art and Design at Grantham College and will be aiming to moving on to university on a crafts and Design course. As a Art and Design student, I enjoy exploring different techniques in the world of art such as; printing, drawing and using nature for art like drawing and painting with mud. When I was on level 2 Art and Design I also studied Graphic Design, I sadly did not enjoy the Graphic Design unit as much as I thought I would but I am open minded to trying and working in that area of art again if needed to. I am eager to learn new skills in the up coming years of university such as; working with wood as it is my true love within the art world plus working with metal and glass work. In this level 3 course I have tried out wood work where I have found my true love and myself within working with the wood, also working with metal and I have enjoyed that a lot more then drawing or painting, so I will be focusing more on working with those techniques in the upcoming university course.

Education background

At my secondary school; St Hugh's Mathematics and Computing College where I studied BTEC Art and Design and studied BTEC Creative Media Production and many more BTEC courses throughout my 5 years at the school. I then moved on from school to Grantham College where I then studied CSKILLS Bricklaying Level 1 Diploma and carried that on going onto a level 2 Diploma course in bricklaying. I realised from there that bricklaying wasn't for me and I thought to myself about what I have enjoyed in the past and Art and Design come to mind ,So I applied for a level 2 and was accepted. I'm currently on BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design course. From college I aim to go onto a university course on crafts deign.
