I am a Technical Director in the realm of theatre. My job is to take the picture from a scenic designer and figure out how to make it real. I budget the labor and materials, make blueprints called draftings for all of the scenic elements, build all of the pieces, and finally, load it all in and install it on the stage. And then rip it all down once the show's run is complete.
