The Visual Resources Center serves the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Colorado Boulder. Its mission is to provide and facilitate access to images and imaging resources for teaching and research in the department. This encompasses a broad range of services:
-- a local digital image database for an archive of images and videos relating to the department’s curriculum and activities;
-- reference and support in the use of our local image collection and external image resources (such as ARTstor);
-- public scanning and editing stations;
-- equipment for projection, photography, and video work;
-- training in the use of the above resources.
