oh hey, it's me, a_ronious. i'm a boston-based abstract artist. i work my 9-5 at UGHH.com slangin' some dope underground music and most of my free time goes to making art. i'm amassing quite a cache of work but haven't shown any in some years... i'm shy on the promotional end of things. feel free to hollr if you are interested in exhibiting anything here

 

an a_ronious artist statement:

 

My art begins without any specific stylistic or compositional intention through a fluid, uncensored stream-of-consciousness-fueled instinctive flow, though as the piece progresses I frequently refine, outline, develop and shape abstract universes into a more focused final product. It is nourished by and infused with an obsessive love of music, which always plays as I paint, along with metaphysical, psychedelic and conspiratorial concepts that bounce about my brain. Thoughts channeled through my art include maya- the hidden veil of reality, the illusions that are solidity and time, the mysterious, multidimensional structure of existence, the cosmic struggle between the confining chains of the Black Iron Prison matrix versus the eternal consciousness of infinite love, and the insatiable desire to escape the herd and express oneself in an indelibly unique vein. My artistic style is unconcerned with realistic representation, thriving instead in the transcendent abstract realm I am drawn to and feel at home in.
