I am the Curator of Ethnography (applied anthropology) at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery in Exeter. I've worked in the heritage sector for 17 years.

Outside work, I am a researcher for the British UFO Research Association, an author of horror fiction with a passion for the Fortean.

My research interests include close encounter cases with its links to folklore and cultural shamanism.

I joined BUFORA in 1994 and was also a co-founder of the Merseyside Anomalies Research Association. Before I left Liverpool in 2005, I published a book called A Different Sky which focused on the sightings I had investigated over a 9 year period.
