The very little money I have as a doctorate student in evolutionary biology is dedicated to travel to see my beautiful fiancée, who is also pursuing her doctorate in evolutionary biology, and photography. I started, more serious, digital photography in 2009 with a Nikon D5000, and I am very much still climbing the learning curve. My D5000 is now in the very good hands of my fiancée. I enjoy being outdoors and photographing the outdoors, but I try not to limit my subject matter. I am by no means trying to become a professional.
