It was about time I startted my much awaited hobby. Bought my first DSLR on 18th October 2011. Nikon D5100 with 18-55mm kit lens and additional 55-300mm telephoto. I m enjoying every bit of it, although my work spares only the weekends for photography. The experience so far has been awsome.

08 March 2012: Added a first prime lens to my gear today. AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G. Next addition (not anytime soon though) will be a macro. Nikkor 60mm f2.8G or 105mm f/2.8G.

15 September 2013: Finally got myself a AF-S Nikon 105mm f/2.8G Micro lens. Haven't had time to take real pictures with it. Can't wait. I now have a Nikon 35mm f/1.8G too.Can't wait to go out and shoot with it, and share here on Flickr.
