Since getting my first DSLR, a Nikon D5000, in January 2011 i've grown more and more in love with Photography. I've always had an interest in it, but never really known how to achieve the shots I see all over the net and printed on canvas. And, although im still far from being an expert, i'd like to think i've improved somewhat since first opening the box to my shiney new D5000.

Of course, that D5000 isn't so shiney anymore and has seen its fair share of rain, mud and abit more rain. But i've leaned towards landscape photography, so its inevitable that its going to happen. I see my camera is there for using, not wrapping in bubble wrap and displaying on a shelf - i'd rather display the shots.

I've given most types of photography a go, from motorsport to weddings but i've decided landscape is the way to go for me. Its the most enjoyable thing for me to shoot. Theres nothing better than being up at 5am, in the quiet ready waiting for the sun to pop up from behind some distant hills.

As said, I still use my Nikon D5000 as it does everything that I need it to and i've no need to change just yet. Other things in my bag are:
