Hi everyone!

I'm Amy. I'm a Sydney girl born and bred although I grew up in the Blue Mountains and now live in the inner city. A big culture change I can tell you!

I first picked up a camera as a serious hobby about 18 months ago when I bit the bullet and booked myself into a short introductory course in photography run by my local community college. Since then I've become hooked and spend most of my free time (when I can squeeze it in!) with a camera in hand or with my head buried in photography magazines.

I joined flickr for inspiration (there are so many fantastic and talented photographers on here!) and have found a great community of people who share the thrill of capturing light. I have received so much encouragement and (constructive) criticism from people whose work inspires me which is just wonderful and keeps me focused on my goal of being the best photographer I can be.
