Alas, I'm feeling severe camera envy from all you brilliant Flickstrs. So many super photos you've all taken.

My first digital camera was a Canon Digital IXUS V. I loved it so much, but then one day it stopped working - possibly too much sand in the mechanical bits? I then downgraded to a Nixon Coolpix L10 that kept me going whilst stalling on upgrading to a digital SLR. Now I have inherited a secondhand Fujifilm FinePix s6000 which ought to keep me ticking over at a slightly higher level of competence.

Because of my general laziness, and the way modern technology is headed, an increasing number of photos have been taken on my various smartphones.
