There is magic to be found in a windswept day at the coast, a walk through the majestic Cascades or a journey deep into the canyons of Eastern Oregon. My first steps onto the sands of the Oregon coast sparked an avid love for the area’s unparalleled beauty. I left everything behind in the Midwest to spend nearly six years systematically documenting the Pacific Northwest, one road trip at a time. Now, fresh off a nearly 8,000-mile road trip photographing the Great American West, I am rediscovering the beauty of my home state and photographing the Midwest with a fresh perspective.
