When it comes to photography, I am a 100% amateur. Should anybody like my work, please feel free to use it. All I ask is that you follow creative commons principles and acknowledge me as the photographer. I would also appreciate being informed of any usage - a comment on the photo is all I ask - to encourage me to do more in the future.

I have been taking photographs for a long while, starting on film with an Fuji ST605N in the 1970s, moving on to a Canon EOS 500 film camera around 1990. I went digital in 2003 with a Ricoh compact, before upgrading to DSLRs in 2007 with an EOS20D. I now have quite a mixture of Canon kit - current favourite is a 90D with a 100-400 Mk II lens.

As you may gather from my photostream, wildlife in all its forms is my favourite subject. followed by landscapes and all forms of transport.
