I have been a watcher of the skies since I was quite young, kicking into high gear in 1976 when i Joined the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. I have been a monthly contributor to Astronomy magazine since the 90s. My long time passion has been gazing at the Moon setting or rising. I have been collaborating with Luca Vanzella on these majestic rises/sets behind the foreground of the beautiful city of Edmonton (since I don't have access to Stonehenge from here!)

As a professional weather forecaster, I have successfully lead several total solar eclipse expeditions to clear skies.
