I became active in the Flickr community at the beginning of September 2011.

I'm an amateur photographer and new to texturing. I took Kim Klassen's Photoshop Essentials in September. She is a fabulous instructor and made it so easy to learn.

There are lots of other providers of textures. You can find some of the ones I use in the blog roll on the right side of my blog.

I believe I've grown new wings. With the reintroduction to taking pictures and seeing things in new ways, I would have to say I spend all of my free time out snapping shots, processing, and Flickring. Clearly my current passion.

I have also enjoyed writing about my photo-adventures in a weekly photo-journal, The Stroll, which I post on my blog.

I love chocolate and anything sweet.

My best friend is my four-legged pup, Kobi. He's a Bischon.

I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, and reading.

I have two sons, Phillip and Scott, who are grown and off living their lives.

I'm enjoying making new friends in the Flickr community.

If you want to know how I've done something, I'll be happy to respond to queries, but won't typically post on each image. Can't give away all my secrets, can I?
