From 8 to 5 I work as an environmental geologist. Otherwise I enjoy gardening and driving around in the country taking photos. I took an interest in gardening with native Kansas plants, because they will survive without a lot of water or help, and have begun to use them in my flowerbeds at home, and also became involved with the Kansas Native Plant Society. Almost all of my photos feature native Kansas wildflowers I've seen during a KNPS foray, or something I saw out driving around in the country on the weekends.
