First of all, I just want to thank everyone for all your support, lovely kind words and encouragement. I’ve just reached 6 million views, which is something I never imagined when I first joined Flickr.

I’ve been interested in photography for most of my life and I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed every minute of this wonderful hobby. I discovered Flickr and started uploading my photographs, but what I didn’t realise at the time was just how much I would learn from being part of this amazing community.

Simply looking at other people’s photographs, asking questions and seeing how others frame and compose a scene has taught me so much. There are some incredibly talented photographers on Flickr, and I’m still learning every day.

I’ve also made some wonderful friends on here—people I’ve never actually met in person, yet somehow feel I know so well. That’s one of the things I love most about Flickr.

As for camera equipment, I’ve been through far too much gear over the years to remember, let alone list it all here! 😂 I’ve always used Nikon, though, and I’ve always got on really well with the brand.

I’m retired now and thoroughly enjoying it. The only downside is that I have limited mobility, so unfortunately I’m restricted to places where I can get my car very close to where I want to photograph. It can be frustrating at times, but it is what it is, and I’m just grateful that I can still get out with my camera most days and do something I love.

I always try my best to reply to everyone who takes the time to leave a comment or favourite one of my photographs. Every single one is genuinely appreciated.
