Guitarist, sound designer, historian of ideas. I've been enjoying photography to focus on the moment. Left off thinking in terms of camera mechanics back when the digital revolution took hold (ah, I loved that Yashica); used a Sony cybershot in the mean time, but splurged on a Fujifilm X10 in July 2013, my carry-anywhere camera. Took a photo course in October, and hopefully got a better handle on composition, aesthetic principles, genres, and technique. (Light, motive, and composition…) I am reluctantly recognizing that I might be a "street photographer," but that could be a happy correspondence arising from the fact that I am often in cities, and always have a camera with me.
