I am an amateur photographer living in New England. I seem to prefer my photos of people doing things that they care about or have to do (work), but I take more of inanimate objects that require no interaction - old mechanical things (cars especially), streetscapes, bikes (ghost, pedal, and powered) and bikers, structures of all ilk but especially dams, and whatever crosses my path.
