The magic of photography -

A photograph captures an image of a moment in time that will never be repeated.

My interest in photography stretches back over many years, starting with an Exakta 2B camera, developing black and white film and producing prints in a makeshift darkroom then onto colour slide film and making cibachrome colour prints from the slides. The digital revolution, with high quality cameras, computer photo manipulation and the increasing versatility of the phone camera has opened up limitless opportunities for photographic creativity and experimentation, which is very exciting, but I’m glad I can still use real film and the odd Polaroid occasionally !!
