During my 50-years as a research scientist and advisor for the U. S. National Park Service, I explored the unknown, discovered secrets of nature, and learned the power of good stories and images to help people make memories and to learn new things. Now I focus on helping conservation organizations and private foundations improve human wellbeing through science and education about nature.
