The USACE Transatlantic Afghanistan District was activated on July 10, 2013. It's mission is to execute quality and timely construction and engineering operations throughout Afghanistan in support of the USFOR-A mission. On order, the district provides sustainable development projects for the Afghan people that employ the populace, build skilled human capital and promote the future stability of Afghanistan.
