Since completing a Ph.D. in the arts of the African Diaspora (focusing on Haiti) a few years ago, I now spend more time making art and playing music than researching. Photography has become another way to articulate my sense of wonder, gratitude, and evolving awareness (long way to go). I'm very fortunate to share life with my creative husband, a Franco-American jazz guitarist, who is also the most patient man in the world.
