Greetings! I go by JMay and I've been a Nottingham gal my whole life. Unique art as well as vibrant colour is what makes me sparkle.

I got off to an early start on the creative side, having grown up surrounded by painters and artists. Since completing various design courses in Nottingham I've been dabbling in all sorts of media outlets, however I fell in love with Photography from the get-go. When it comes to capturing a photo, I prefer themes such as rockabilly, scenic environments and live events. Creativity has been close to my heart for many years and therefore gives me the confidence to take a client and create a beautiful custom styled image.

My past experience include events such as the London Olympics, local festivals and weddings. My love for my hometown makes me extremely partial to capturing Nottingham's scenic and historic spots.

I take great inspiration from my grandfather, who is a fantastic artist and has always encouraged my own artistic side, ever since I was little. My love for colour certainly seeded from his paintings that were always dotted around the house.

My hobbies are quite varied. I spent a lot of time on my computer delving in all things geeky, weather it be gaming or game developing. Rock music is also a big passion of mine, and I love to attend festivals and local gigs.

A few random facts - my favorite colour is red, and my favorite move is Lord of the Rings, which also played a part of my inspiration for visual aesthetics. Aside from photography, I specialize in motion graphics, image editing and special effects.
