Very new to photography having taken it up as a hobby at the beginning of 2013. I'm undertaking a post graduate research degree in psychology as well as working as a casual lecturer, tutor, marker, RA and whatever other work is going at university.

I felt I needed a creative outlet to balance my life and fell in love with taking pictures of the wildlife around my home town in central QLD.

Sometimes I've even been lucky enough to be able to get a shot from my bedroom (check out my picture of the Sacred Kingfisher on the fence).

I enjoy the challenge of photography, the constant learning required in order to obtain better quality shots and seeing my work slowly improve.
