An avid photographer since I could first hold a camera, I spend as much spare time as I can behind the lens. Expression with light and careful composition drive my image making.

I had the privilege to live in Kyoto, Japan for several years. The experience has had an enduring effect on how I approach photography.

I work these days with medium format digital (Hasselblad X2D) Previously used Mamiya film and digital equipment.
