Art has been very important in my life. Since I was young my parents introduced me to different art experiences.

My Dad was an excelent piano player, my mom is an incredible plastic artist, she paint and sculpt.

To be honest, I never was a good art prentice. Since kid, it was realy important to be my self... Once in Piano lessons, the teacher told me to play as Mozart wrote the piece. I told her, that it was impossible, even if there were all the signs, so I let her know, that if she wanted I can play it like Alejandra Lozano, but I could not repeat or imitate the feelings of the composser, he was Mozart, I am Alejandra.

The same for Painting, I have allways had my own way to express my self in everything I do.

El arte siempre ha sido importante en mi vida. Desde que era chica mis padres me acercaron a diferentes experiencias artísticas.

Mi papá era un excelente pianista, mi madre es una artista plástica sin precedentes, pinta y esculpe de una manera única.

Para ser honesta, nunca fui una buena aprendiz. Desde chica ser yo misma era muy importante... En una ocasión mi maestra de piano me pidió que interpretara la pieza tal y como Mozart la escribió. Le dije, que eso era imposible, aún cuando toda la simbología estaba escrita. Le comenté que si quería la podía interpretar como Alejandra Lozano, pero no podía repetir ni imitar los sentimientos del compositor, el era Mozart, yo soy Alejandra Lozano.

Lo mismo en la pintura, siempre he tenido mi propia manera de expresarme, en todo lo que hago.
