I am a young creative person who has a wide range of interests from art - photography - baking.

As a kid I had a great range of activities I use to love. A load of sports were the first point of call for me. It started with Ballet where I made my mum do it with me as I had a lack in confidence and thought I looked silly doing it. Gymnastics came next where I gained many badges and worked my way through the levels. Continuing on to swimming where I zoomed through the badges even gaining one for Lifesaving. Tennis, Golf, Majorettes and Football were all other sports I had a fling with. I ended doing sports after I had the realisation that "sporty people don't get boobs"

As well as sports I did a Saturday cooking club, where me and my sister would go to our primary school and learn how to cook. Of corse the food was basic it still gave me that confidence with my own ability to follow instructions and make something yummy. As well as cooking we also did crafts and made things like placemats and at Xmas made candy cane decorations.

Throughout school I worked hard and did everything I was given to do. Teachers all said the same that I "was just too quiet and need to speak up more" but that never changed. I didn't feel there was a need for me to raise my hand often or try and outshine everyone else in subject I wasn't interested in. There was only 1 subject I felt I shined and there wasn't a right or wrong answer. Art. That was it. My forte. I loved it.

During Primary school I had a chance to learn a musical instrument. I wanted to learn how to play the flute. I thought it looked really cool and was interesting. The other selected children wanted to learn how to play the clarinet. So that is what I was forced to play. I wasn't bad at playing though. I picked it up quickly and was able to play and never practice. I loved it even more with the fact that I would miss the history lesson. An issue arose with the other girl who was in the other class. The school decided to swap our lessons over and I went from missing History to missing Art. The thought of that was horrible. It was enough to make me want to quit playing. So I did. I left Music for Art and it was a well worth while decision.

Through Secondary school I just floated by did what I could didn't really involve myself in any activities that went on. I spent lunches doodling and hanging out with friends. A levels were different though. A new year a new start. I began with some old friends and found my own company more interesting. I took myself away from others and spent my time working on my Photography and Art. I spent every lunch/break and free engaging in my projects

Whilst I was at school I was working at La Motte Street Studios which was a recording/band rehearsal room. I did a lot of work among filing and such I created promotions, posters and emailing people. I had many responsibilities whilst working there. I was valued for my ideas and able to finish tasks quickly and efficiently. My role branched out to things like assisting with hiring staff, judging for competitions etc. I got these opportunities as I worked hard. Since I was around 11 I had been helping with the runnings of concerts and Battle Of The Bands. By the time I was 17 I was assisting in organising them as well as being the person in charge of front of house.

My last few years working there I became the poster girl, making the posters and tickets for each heat with the bands times on it. I was organiser of marking the VIP's including bands, judges, photographers and crew. I was in charge of looking after the band space, making sure no one who wasn't staff or band to be allowed behind and to make sure the bands were ready. I also did things like applying wrist bands and taking money. It was a really fun job and I really enjoyed it.

Although I didn't get paid I was happy to know my time helped with the way things ran. I knew that my time was being used to give something for people to enjoy. I gave my all to the work I was doing and I would do it again.

As well as working I was asked to do photography for 2 bands that won a competition. I took the winning bands and created a shoot for them. The photographs were used to promote them and were used in their mini tour.

Since then I moved to England and have been branching out to do art and photography for anyone who would like my assistance.
