I am an ecologist, working in freshwaters addressing a range of issues around the world.

I currently live and work across Wales and parts of North West England. I spent my doctorate in Yorkshire on the impacts of alien invasive species on ecosystem processes. I have a great interest in studying ecosystem productivity, resource consumption efficiency and biodiversity (species composition and dominance) in relation to the history of species in a given locality. I have worked separately on amphibian ecology and sustainable ecosystem management and all it entails at home and abroad (abroad mostly being Cameroon, Uganda and elsewhere in Sub-Saharan Africa).
