Hello, thanks for stopping by and checking out my Flickr site. I suppose I can share a little about my interest in photography on Flickr :) My interest started when I received a 35mm camera as a birthday gift when I was about 8 years old. I remember taking pictures of everything in sight! Then I eventually settled on mainly photographing landscapes and wildlife, if I could find any in NYC. I was also very artistic, mainly painting landscapes and wildlife. I suppose this was Bob Ross' fault.... So it was natural for my photography to focus on nature. It's a way for me to escape into the scene and remember how I felt when I was actually there.

Fast forward 35 years and a couple of 35mm cameras later and I find myself back into photography but in a whole new digital world. Wow, things have changed and this is pretty cool. I recently bought a Canon 6D and currently have Canon's 17-40 f4/L USM and 24-105 f4 L USM lens. I am getting used to Lightroom 5 for post processing, which is really fun. I suppose my philosophy is to not over process images but to try to bring out the best image while still looking natural. However, I can fully appreciate the art of more intense processing :)

If you are interested in using, reproducing or printing any images, please send me an email for permission.

Thanks again for stopping by.
