Born and raised in Illinois with engineering degree from Northwestern University. California resident since 1961. Retired from major airline. Bought first camera (Exakta) in 1956. Have used only Nikons since buying Nikon F in 1960. Shot Kodachrome until going digital in 2007 with Nikon D200. Next two cameras were the Nikon D700 and the Nikon D750. Now use Nikon D780. Most photography time spent shooting sports but will photograph just about anything I find to be of interest like, for example, architecture (especially Victorian), ghost signs, car shows, National Parks, musical performances, and old mining towns. Am camera club member where I enjoy the competitions. Love my 27" iMac computer.
